aespa: From Givenchy to CLIO, truly on the NEXT LEVEL

Today, CLIO, an award-winning Korean colour cosmetics company that is famous for its eye, lip, and base makeup products announced on August 6, 2021, that aespa was selected as the New Faces of Cosmetics Brand Clio. aespa Becomes First Brand Ambassador For Luxury Brand Givenchy


On February 10, SM Entertainment shared that aespa was selected as the 2021 brand ambassador of French luxury brand Givenchy. They will feature in collections and key lines by Matthew M. Williams, the creative director of Givenchy.


aespa is the first K-pop artist to be a brand ambassador for Givenchy. It is also unusual in the fashion world for a group, and not an individual member, to become the face of a brand. This proves the influence of global super rookie aespa.


Matthew M. Williams said, “When I first saw aespa, I was overwhelmed by the energy each member had. I felt that as a group and individually, Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning have strong individuality and style that naturally fit with Givenchy. aespa’s fashion is having their own color.”

the CLIO representative said, "If you were to pick the hottest idols these days, everyone would say aespa. The popularity of aespa is increasing day by day. Therefore, they were selected as our latest brand models as they are in line with our values."



Previously, people speculated that aespa would be CLIO's latest brand ambassadors after the brand shared a video teaser to their social media accounts with the words "coming soon." In the released video, four silhouettes can be soon with the CLIO logo next to them. Though the video was short, it achieved a mysterious atmosphere, which led many to wonder who the girls were.



CLIO is a make-up brand that promotes self-confidence. They encourage their customers to find their own charm and atmosphere with their make-up.

aespa to release new palettes after becoming the new face of 'Clio Cosmetics


aespa is the new face of 'Clio Cosmetics'. Before the official announcement from the brand, netizens were speculating aespa will be their new endorsement model. On August 6th, 'Clio Cosmetics' announced aespa as their new brand endorsement model along with a teaser for their new eye shadow palettes. According to the teaser, new palettes with aespa will drop on August 23rd KST.
